Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Duties 

 

• Lesson Planning & Instruction: Plan, prepare, and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons covering language, social skills, mathematics, science, and creative arts.
 

• Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
 

• Child Development Monitoring: Observe and document each child’s progress, interests, and needs to support individualized learning.
 

• Care Routines: Guide children in developing proper hygiene, nutrition, and self-help habits (e.g., handwashing, eating, tidying up).
 

• Safety & Supervision: Ensure consistent supervision to prevent accidents and manage classroom behavior, including during outdoor activities and rest time.
 

• Parent Communication: Build positive relationships with parents by providing regular updates on their child’s progress and well-being.
 

• Team Collaboration: Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
 

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

 

• Education: A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
 

• Certification: Relevant, active teaching license or certifications (e.g., PERMATA certification for toddlers in Malaysia).
 

• Experience: Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher or Early Childhood Educator.
 

• Skills: Exceptional patience, creativity, strong communication skills, and, the ability to manage a classroom of young children.
 

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40lbs, and participate in, floor-level activities with children. 
 

Work Environment & Physical Demands

 

• This position requires high energy and the ability to respond quickly to the needs of children.
 

• The role involves both indoor and outdoor supervision.
 

• Mental and emotional stamina is required to provide consistent, nurturing support.
