Job Description
- Create and design wooden crates, boxes, pallets, packaging structures, and POSM based on customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop creative structural concepts for industrial packaging and Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM).
- Convert customer designs, product drawings, and specifications into in-house manufacturing specifications.
- Review customer drawings, product dimensions, and specifications to recommend suitable structural and packaging solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, 2D/3D designs, and prototypes for customer verification and production.
- Recommend suitable packaging structures and wood materials to ensure product protection during storage and transportation.
- Ensure designs meet customer specifications, brand guidelines, quality requirements, and production feasibility.
- Produce samples and prototypes for customer verification.
- Liaise closely with the Sales and Production teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
- Assist in project management tasks related to packaging and structural design projects.
- Ensure projects and assigned tasks are completed within the required timeline.
Job Requirements
Requirements:- Diploma or higher qualification in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Able to communicate in English.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, 2D/3D software and/or Adobe.
- Knowledge of wooden packaging, structural design, industrial packaging, or Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
