About the Role
We're looking for a Business Solutions Engineer to bridge the gap between our technical product and our customers. This role is ideal for developers who want to move into a more consultative, customer-facing position while still using strong technical chops day to day. You'll work closely with the product, sales, marketing, and knowledge base teams to build solutions, run demos, and help clients succeed with Joget, our low-code/AI-based app development platform. 

Responsibilities

• Build proof-of-concepts (POCs) on Joget for prospects and partners
• Prepare and submit technical proposals
• Run product demos for clients and partners
• Train partners and clients on the platform
• Design and build innovative solutions to solve customer business problems
• Collaborate with product, KB, marketing, and sales teams to support pipeline generation and client management

Note: Candidates based in India or the Middle East.

Technical Criteria

• Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, problem-solving)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, Java strongly preferred
• Basic front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Genuine curiosity for technology — comfortable picking up new tools, frameworks, and platforms without hand-holding
• Willingness to learn Joget in depth (training provided — no prior experience required)

Functional Criteria

• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to think through ambiguous, undefined problems and find a way forward.
• Comfortable working across POCs, proposals, demos, and training simultaneously.
• Development background preferred; candidates currently in pure dev roles looking to transition into a more consultant-style, customer-facing role are encouraged to apply.

• Excellent communication skills — comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Intrinsically motivated and self-driven; someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
• A real problem solver: thinks outside the box, and is persistent and resourceful when facing roadblocks.
• Sharp and quick to learn — we're looking for genuinely smart, capable people, not just box-checkers.
• A self-starter who thrives with autonomy and ownership, not someone who needs constant direction.
