Job Description

We are looking for an AI Data Operations Supervisor to lead AI data production and quality management in Malaysia. This role will translate technical specifications from the U.S. R&D and product teams into executable workflows and supervise two AI Data Operations Associates.

Key Responsibilities

● Establish and maintain annotation and validation guidelines, quality rules, workflows, and acceptance criteria based on technical specifications.

● Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor delivery progress for two AI Data Operations Associates.

● Conduct sampling inspections, reviews, anomaly identification, error classification, and secondary validation for image, video, and spatial data.

● Track accuracy, error rates, rework rates, productivity, and on-time delivery.

● Identify edge cases and ambiguous rules, prepare structured feedback, and confirm resolutions with U.S. technical teams.

● Participate in JOYAD advertising-placement quality checks and work involving physical-AI video or spatial data, model-assisted annotation, and human-in-the-loop validation.

● Lead onboarding, training, sample-library development, error-case documentation, and quality-control checklist maintenance.

● Ensure data security, access control, confidentiality, and project-document retention.

Job Requirements

● Bachelor's degree preferred; a background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.

● 2–4 years of experience in data annotation, AI data operations, data quality, computer-vision data, or similar roles.

● Ability to understand complex rules and translate them into clear standard operating procedures.

● Strong attention to detail, consistency, quality awareness, and process discipline.

● Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with basic statistical-analysis capability.

● Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

● Experience in task assignment, feedback, training, and small-team management.
