About the role

This is a practical trainee position in the insurance and financial services industry, offering real-life fieldwork experience combined with research, administrative, and leadership development opportunities.

Key responsibilities
- Experience real-life fieldwork together with a buddy to have a better understanding of sales and service oriented area in the insurance industry
- Analyze sales activities and trends
- Assess and conduct research in business administration strategies and prepare relevant presentation materials for meetings
- Learn back-office and operational support
- Review and identify prospect's insurance needs by developing a proposal of coverage to meet prospect's need.
- Conduct survey on view of public towards insurance as protection and insurance as career
- Teleconsulting on existing policyholder
- Participate in event preparation to develop soft skills and communication skills
- Learn how to develop a management team by providing appropriate management skill training
- Receive in-house training on basic understanding of insurance, sales cycle and its practices.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
- Open for Malaysian students only.
- Candidate currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing & Management, Finance & Banking, Accountancy, Actuarial Science, Mass Communications, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English and other dialect languages is desirable.
- Good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to develop presentation skills
- Willingness to participate in leadership training and hands-on opportunities to lead in meetings and events
Interest in understanding how an entrepreneur enterprise works in an insurance and financial industry
- Preferred possession of own transport.
