Job Description

• Provide friendly, polite, and attentive customer service to all guests.
• Welcome customers, assist with seating, and explain menu items and promotions.
• Take customer orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Assist customers with yakiniku dining, including explaining how to grill meat and use the dining equipment when needed.
• Ensure the smooth daily operation of the restaurant.
• Prepare and arrange tables before customers arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Check food presentation and ensure orders are served correctly.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service.
• Follow restaurant standard operating procedures (SOPs), food safety, and hygiene requirements.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and resetting tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or restaurant management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; experience in the food and beverage industry is an advantage.
• Friendly, polite, and customer-service-oriented.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and shifts.
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and disciplined.
• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
• Willing to learn about the menu, food preparation, and yakiniku dining service.
• Able to speak Bahasa Malaysia; basic English or Mandarin is an advantage.
• Must be able to perform duties involving standing for long periods.
