Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on procedural and substantive issues.
2. Draft legal opinions, cause papers, pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and other litigation documents.
3. Attend to clients, take detailed instructions, and identify relevant factual and evidentiary issues.
4. Prepare and manage pre-trial documentation, including bundles of documents, witness statements, and case management materials.
5. Handle interlocutory applications, including drafting supporting affidavits and written submissions.
6. Attend court proceedings, case management, e-review, and hearings.
7. Conduct trials and assist senior counsel where required.
8. Ensure compliance with procedural timelines and court directions.

Job Requirements

Requirements

1. LL.B (Hons) degree and admitted to the Malaysian Bar.
2. 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in litigation practice.
3. Strong legal research and analytical skills.
4. Proficient in legal drafting and written advocacy.
5. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
6. Competent in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
7. Able to work independently with appropriate supervision.
8. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
9. Team-oriented with a professional attitude.
10. High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail.
