Role Overview

The Supply Chain Specialist plays a vital role in facilitating the flow and transformation of high value products to our end-users. This position requires resourcefulness, flair for organisation, good communication, coordination and negotiation skills. The ability to work as a team, anticipate, plan and make quality strategic commercial decisions is a stand-out quality for advancements in the role.

Supplier/Vendor Management

• Supplier/vendor sourcing, qualification/disqualification and performance management

Sourcing & Procurement

• Active products sourcing and identification of potential suppliers 
• Deliver cost savings, timely supplies and quality purchases

Inventory & Materials Management (including warehousing)

• Responsible for inventory turn and stock-holding cost efficiency
• Materials Planning according to Bill-of-Materials
• Systematic and secured storage of inventory items
• Responsbile for accuracy of inventory records against physical count
• Responsible for accurate receiving and release of goods

Logistics

• Air, sea and land forwarding logistics planning, coordination, documentation and performance

Compliance

• Ensure compliance to Quality, Regulatory, Environmental, Commercial requirements
• Adhere to Ethical Business Values and Practices

Data Analytics

• Perform data analytics on supply-chain data to identify actionable intelligence for operational improvements

Job Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics functions
• Strong ability to manage end-to-end supply chain flow for high‑value products
• Demonstrated resourcefulness with strong organisational and planning skills
• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams
• Qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Supplier/Vendor Management

• Experience in supplier and vendor sourcing, qualification/disqualification, and performance management
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings while ensuring timely supply and quality standards

Sourcing & Procurement

• Strong sourcing and procurement skills, including active identification of potential new suppliers
• Capability to anticipate needs, plan strategically, and make sound commercial decisions

Inventory & Materials Management

• Good working knowledge of engineering materials, tools, components etc 
• Ability to perform materials planning based on Bill‑of‑Materials (BOM) & historical project or purchasing data
• Experience managing inventory turnover and stock‑holding cost efficiency
• Knowledge of systematic and secure inventory storage best practices
• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy of inventory records versus physical counts
• Experience in accurate receiving, issuance, and release of good

Logistics

• Hands‑on experience with air, sea, and land logistics planning and coordination
• Familiarity with logistics documentation, incoterms, Customs regulations, duties and LMW license administration 

Compliance

• Strong understanding of compliance with quality, regulatory, environmental, and commercial requirements

Data Analytics

• Ability to perform supply chain data analytics to generate actionable insights for operational improvements

Ad-hoc Projects

• Lead or support ad-hoc projects
