Job Description

• Plan, monitor & contribute to team effort by accomplishing departmental KPI and collection result as needed
• Review tax computations for staff and identify tax issues based on various taxation statutes
• Monitor and provide guidance to ensure timely submission of corporate tax computations and return to the tax authorities (Form C, CP204, Form E, Tax Audit & other)
• Assist and advise clients on compliance requirements
• Assist in advisory and consultancy work such as appeals to IRB
• Conduct weekly meeting with supervisor to keep track on job progress & report to CEO on departmental progress
• Planning and coordinating of department resource (manpower & finance)
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge from time to time 
• Execute training needs and conduct internal training for raising technical standard and soft skill 
• Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
• Directly provide job training to senior, junior & intern on tax matters
• Any other ad hoc task as assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

• Degree in relevant discipline and/or a professional qualification preferable in the areas of Finance / Accounting / Taxation (e.g ACCA / AIA / CIMA graduate
• Minimum 3-5 year experience (for Supervisor and Manager role) of related experience in an accounting firm
• A member of a recognized professional accounting / taxation body will be an added advantage (e.g ACCA / MIA / CTIM)
• Proficiency in MS Office, familiar with Superior Tax Comp or other tax software will be a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English & Malay, other language proficiency will be a plus
• Cooperative team player, yet able to work independently and systematically, taking initiative and responsibility
• Must have aptitude and desire to learn new competencies and skill
