Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring export and import shipment.
• To prepare all the shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading Delivery Order etc. for every shipment.
• Liaise with shipping lines / forwarder agents for vessel booking.
• To liaise with forwarding agent to clear the shipment in time to avoid detention, storage or demurrage charges.
• To prepare and handle any application through customs, MITI, Malay Chamber or other government department.
• To follow up on order completion dates with planner or production department.
• To liaise with warehouse and handle interco movement e.g., from Port Klang to Thailand and from Port Klang to Johor.
• To monitor on warehouse space availability to avoid congested by ensure shipment going out in time.
• To manage and execute documents required for Supply Chain compliance, ensure all the relevant documents are up to date and fulfilled for audit purpose.
• Support and assist in any other supply chain activities.
• To ensure other related task/ duties and projects are done as assigned by superior.

Role Requirements

•  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistic Management / Transport Management or its equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience or fresh graduate in the Logistics / Transport field and relevant experience.
• Proficient in English and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills – external and internal.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Port Klang, Selangor.
