Key Responsibilities

Healthcare Professional (HCP) Engagement

• Visit hospitals, pediatric clinics, GP clinics, pharmacies, and confinement centers in Johor Bahru area.
• Build and maintain good relationships with doctors, nurses, dietitians, clinic assistants, pharmacists, and confinement center staff.
• Introduce and educate healthcare professionals on company products and latest product developments.
• Share approved scientific materials, latest research papers, and product educational materials with healthcare professionals.
• Explain key product benefits in a professional and compliant manner.

Product & Scientific Promotion

• Present product benefits including:

1. Gentle digestion
2. Whole goat milk nutrition
3. Naturally occurring A2-type protein
4. Easier digestion characteristics
5. Nutritional support for growth and development

• Support scientific communication activities based on approved company claims and research.
• Assist in explaining clinical studies and scientific evidence provided by the company.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

• Collect market feedback from healthcare professionals and confinement centers.
• Monitor competitor activities, promotions, and product presence.
• Prepare simple weekly visit reports and updates.
• Share insights from the field to support marketing and sales strategies.

Event & Activation Support

• Support medical events, seminars, workshops, roadshows, or healthcare-related activities.
• Assist in product sampling or educational activities when required.
• Help distribute educational materials and maintain professional product displays.

Administrative Support

• Update visit records, contact databases, and follow-up status.
• Assist in coordinating appointments and scheduling visits.
• Ensure promotional materials are well organized and sufficiently stocked.

What the Intern Will Learn

• Exposure to medical marketing and healthcare channel management.
• Experience in handling hospitals, clinics, and confinement centers.
• Understanding of healthcare professional engagement.
• Practical knowledge in nutrition product education and scientific communication.
• Field exposure similar to medical representative operations.

Sample Daily Activities

Morning : Visit pediatric clinics & GP clinics

Afternoon : Visit confinement centers & pharmacies

End of day :

• Submit visit report
• Update HCP database
• Share market feedback/photos

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree student in: Nutrition/ Dietetics/ Biomedical Science/ Pharmacy/ Marketing/ Business/ Nursing; or related fields.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable meeting healthcare professionals and conducting field visits.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel around Johor Bahru.
• Positive attitude, proactive, and willing to learn.

Preferred Candidate Qualities

• Interested in healthcare, nutrition, and medical marketing.
• Confident in presentation and communication.
• Responsible and able to work independently.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
