Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our Finance Department. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing Accounts Payable (AP)—ensuring timely and precise payments to our suppliers while adhering to strict cash flow management. Additionally, you will contribute to General Ledger (GL) upkeep and assist with month-end closing activities. This position is ideal for an emerging accountant eager to take charge of the payment process.

Core Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Invoice Management: Enter high volumes of supplier invoices into the system with accuracy. Confirm that all invoices correspond with a valid PO and signed Delivery Order (DO).
• Payment Readiness: Compile the bi-monthly "Payment Proposal List" for management's approval.
• Supplier Communication: Serve as the primary contact for suppliers concerning payment inquiries. Monthly reconciliation of Supplier Statements to verify that no invoices are overlooked.
• Employee Reimbursements: Assess and process staff expense claims in line with company policy.

General Accounting

• Bank Reconciliation: Conduct bank reconciliations to monitor cash flow.
• Filing & Documentation: Uphold a well-organized filing system (both digital and physical) to ensure audit preparedness.
• Month-End Assistance: Support the Finance Operations Controller in creating schedules for Prepayments, Accruals, and Fixed Assets.
• Data Accuracy: Ensure that all entries into the Accounting System (e.g., AutoCount/SQL) are accurate and current.

Job Requirements

• Candidate preferably possess a Bachelor in Accounting or relevant
• Experience in Accounting field minimum of 2-3 years and MIA certification is a bonus
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Persuasive and excellent influencing skills
• Individual who is passionate, resourceful, self-motivated, highly committed, a team player and able to motivate others
• Must be willing to work in a highly dynamic and challenging startup environment.
