About the role

 

  • Work Location       : 1Powerhouse, PJ (5 mins walking distance from MRT Bandar Utama)
  • Reporting To         :  Regional ELC Manager – APMEA & Europe
  • Working Hours      :  2PM – 11PM

 

The Employee Life Cycle (ELC) Specialist is responsible for providing advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to the ELC team and to the stakeholders such as Plant Managers, HRBPs, Site Administrators, etc. They will also be responsible for managing complex cases, supporting the implementation of new processes and initiatives, and ensuring quality and assurance across all activities.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Serve as the first point of escalation for the ELC team members as well as for the HR community in the country and the different sites. Taking a proactive approach to guide Leaders and HRBPs in relation to our processes.
  • Responsible for the AskHR cases assignation daily (2 times per day) and ensure the assignation is fair and equally distributed across the team.
  • When any of the ELC team members are on short (4 days and below)/unplanned leave, the ELC Specialist is to look at their queues and ensure that all cases that are about to breach are re-assigned as part of the daily case assignation and if any breached cases evaluate if they can be closed or updated.
  • Work closely with team members that are going on long leave (5 days and above) to ensure cases left in the queue are future dated or cannot be actioned during the period of their leave, any other case should be re-assigned to the other team members.
  • Re-assign all cases for any leaver in the team.
  • Manage all mass requests i.e., pay rate changes, redundancies, etc., ensuring they are equally distributed to the team and that they are actioned on time and accurately.
  • Lead and coordinate the Audits, ensuring that the team do all the pre work and ensure all support is given to the site on the audit day.
  • Responsible for taking and actioning cases for all employees at senior management levels.
  • Perform analysis on process improvements for the team, gather ideas from team members on how we can simplify ours of working.
  •  Actively lead and support the implementation of new projects impacting the respective region.
  • Own the end-to-end processes under Global Mobility (Perm Relocation, Long Term Assignment, Short Term Assignment etc.)

Qualifications and skills

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee life cycle management. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software (e.g., SAP, Success Factor, Service now).
