About the role

 

Work Location:         1Powerhouse, PJ (5mins walk from MRT Bandar Utama)
Reporting To:            Regional Transition Lead, APMEA


Transition Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the seamless transition and integration of non-SAP sites into Kerry SAP system, with a focus on scope expansion and digital enablement projects. The role requires strong project management skills, expertise in system integrations, and the ability to drive change in a dynamic environment. The Transition Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of transition activities, alignment with business objectives, and the achievement of project milestones. Plan, lead and manage different types of transition and transformation projects into the GBS KL center, ensuring on time and on budget implementation of the project’s portfolio according to the Kerry PMO methodology and solution framework.

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

Transition deployment

  • Develop and deliver detailed transition plans with clear milestones and timelines, identifying interdependencies and in line with PMO and GBS Transition Methodology
  • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with business and functions, including key leadership Teams
  • Ensure successful knowledge transfer and work-shadowing between the business and GBS
  • Support the application of a operational excellence culture and drive process stabilization & optimization 
  • Develop robust working relationships with key process owners across the business

 

Project Governance and Management

  • Implement the Governance Model established for transition projects to manage performance, relationships and controls
  • Ensure effective project, stakeholder and change management tools and processes are used properly throughout the transition
  • Provide support on Change Management and Communication for the transition programs
  • Establishing review mechanism to include performance, compliance, risk and transition milestone review
  • Drive digital enablement initiatives, including the adoption of new technologies and tools, to enhance operational efficiency and improve business outcomes
  • Collaborate with digital transformation teams to identify and implement digital solutions that support the integration and transition process

 

Project Management Office Services

  • Provide consolidated transition status reporting, dashboards and relevant measures at GBS Center levels
  • Ensure risks are appropriately managed and mitigating actions are in place to ensure continuity of service and minimum disruption to both existing operations and the processes to be transitioned.
  • Ensure that a robust monitoring process is implemented, and rigor is established to resolve process inefficiencies, and capture lessons learned in the deployment phase
  • Perform project quality checks and audits, ensuring compliance with the methodology
  • Manage a common transition documentation repository (project documentation, tools, templates, accelerators etc)
  • Develop and execute change management plans to support the adoption of new processes and systems by impacted teams
  • Ensure that training and support materials are provided to end-users to facilitate a smooth transition

 

Qualifications and skills

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with minimum 5+ years’ experience in SSC/BPO environment.
  • Project Management qualification (PMP, Prince2 or similar)
  • Strong Project Management and Project portfolio Management capabilities with more than 3 years of relevant experience, in a fast-paced, changing environment - ideally where transition, automation and migration has been involved.
  • Experience with digital transformation and enablement initiatives is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project planning, implementation and management gained through experience using formal project planning tools and recognized project management methodology (PMP, Prince2, etc.).
  • Experience of working in a complex PMO environment.
  • Stakeholder management: solid network with functional area, Markets, Region, ICT organization.
