Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Designer & Draftsman to join our team. This position is essential in supporting our design-to-production workflow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and production-ready furniture models and technical drawings using CAD/CAM software for CNC machining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop precise 2D and 3D technical drawings and models for furniture and cabinetry products.
   
• Convert interior design concepts into CNC-ready production files.
   
• Use CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArtCAM, Cohoom, aihouse etc.) to create models optimized for machining.
   
• Collaborate closely with the design, production, and CNC teams to ensure all outputs meet production and quality standards.
   
• Update and maintain drawing libraries and documentation according to project requirements.
   
• Conduct revisions and modifications based on feedback from production or clients.
   
• Ensure all designs comply with company standards, tolerances, and material specifications.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, Industrial Design, or a related field.
   
• Proven experience in furniture drafting or mechanical design using CAD/CAM software.
   
• Familiarity with CNC operations and furniture production processes.
   
• Strong attention to detail, technical precision, and time management.
   
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
   
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
   

Bonus Skills (Preferred):

• Experience in the interior design or cabinetry industry.
   
• Knowledge of materials like melamine, plywood, laminate, etc.
   
• Familiarity with nesting software for CNC optimization.
