As Assistant Manager you will build scalable forwarding operations, streamline processes to reduce transit times and costs, and grow our carrier and agent network while leading a forwarding team to meet KPIs, financial targets and compliance requirements.

• Expand your operational leadership by managing end-to-end forwarding workflows, preparing you for senior logistics roles.
• Lead and mentor a forwarding team through daily coaching and performance management to strengthen your people skills.
• Sharpen your commercial judgment by negotiating with carriers and analysing costs to improve service and margins.
• Build a measurable track record using KPI-driven reports that position you for regional operations responsibilities.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in forwarding or logistics operations

Strong knowledge of forwarding regulations, customs procedures, and industry standards

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in logistics or supply chain management, such as CCLP or CLTD

Experience with international forwarding, including knowledge of Incoterms and trade agreements

Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools

Strong network of industry contacts and relationships with carriers and agents
