Job Description

We are looking for a fast-paced, creative Videographer & Editor to join our team. Your primary focus will be producing high-quality social media content based on our weekly creative briefs. 

Content Production (Shooting)

  • Execute filming based strictly on the provided Weekly Content Briefs (7 contents).
  • Ensure all visual requirements (angles, lighting, props) match the brief.
  • Direct talent/subjects during the shoot to ensure proper delivery.

Post-Production (Editing)

  • Edit raw footage into polished video following the media channel (i.e. Tiktok, YouTube etc).
  • Add engaging subtitles/captions (hooks, keywords).
  • Select trending audio or use specific music tracks as requested.
  • Ensure the video pace matches the platform style (fast-paced for TikTok/Reels).

Content Distribution (Posting)

  • Upload Schedule: Post content daily (or as per schedule) to Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Optimizing contenrs:
    • Select or design an aesthetic Cover Image/Thumbnail so the feed looks clean.
    • Input the provided Caption and Hashtags.
    • Add relevant "Topics," Location tags, and tag relevant accounts.
  • Quality Check: Ensure the video uploads correctly without audio sync issues or quality drops.


Job Requirements

 

  1. Highly Organized & Disciplined
  • File Management: You must keep raw footage, project files, and final exports neatly sorted in Google Drive/Cloud. No "missing files" or messy folders.
  • Schedule Adherence: capable of managing the timeline for 7 videos a week. You plan your shooting and editing time efficiently so you never rush or miss a posting deadline.
  • Workflow: You have a clear system for tracking which videos are "To Shoot," "Editing," "Pending Approval," and "Posted."

2. High Sense of Responsibility & Awareness

  • Alert & Observant: You double-check everything before sending it for approval. You catch typos in captions, audio sync issues, or bad lighting yourself—we shouldn't have to point them out.
  • Understand the Brief: You read instructions carefully. If the brief says "Focus on the product logo," you ensure the logo is visible. You don't just "do for the sake of doing."

  • Proactive Communicator: If you see a trend fading or have a better idea for a hook, you speak up. If you face a blocker (e.g., bad weather for a shoot), you inform us immediately, not after the deadline.
  • Social Media Awareness: You are "peka" to the platform. You check that the cover image isn't cut off on the grid and that the text isn't covered by the TikTok/Reels interface buttons.Mobile-First Editing: Expert proficiency in CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro (must be fast at cutting, adding auto-captions, and using transitions).
  • Platform Native Knowledge:
    • Knows how to select and design Cover Images/Thumbnails that fit the grid aesthetics
    • Understands TikTok/Reels SEO: Knows how to use keywords in captions, hash-tagging strategies, and location tagging to increase reach.
    • Familiar with adding "Trending Audio" correctly within the apps (Instagram/TikTok audio libraries) to boost algorithm performance.
  • Shooting Fundamentals: Ability to shoot stable, well-lit footage using a smartphone or mirrorless camera (understands framing, rule of thirds, and lighting).
  • Trend Awareness: Actively consumes short-form content and understands current "trends" (e.g., POV styles, trending audio, transition trends).
  • Attention to Detail: Checks for spelling errors in captions, ensures audio is synced perfectly, and verifies video quality before hitting "Post."
  • Responsiveness: Able to communicate quickly during the week regarding brief clarifications or feedback.
  • Proven Portfolio: Must provide a link to a TikTok or Instagram account (personal or client work) that demonstrates:
    • Vertical video editing style.
    • Use of hooks/captions.
    • Consistent posting history.
  • Turnaround Time: Experience working in a fast-paced environment where "Same Day" or "24-hour" turnaround is normal.
