Chef De Partie— Kopenhagen Coffee

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, presentation, and overall kitchen efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with the sous chef and other kitchen staff to ensure SOP is followed and aligned. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, following established recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Manage a specific station within the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in the development of new dishes and menu items in collaboration with the sous chef.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff and ensure they adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, following health department regulations.
• Monitor food quality and portion control to minimize waste and ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Participate in menu planning and offer creative input.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent training.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
