About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused interns to join our café team. This internship offers hands-on experience in specialty coffee, customer service and café operations. You will work alongside experienced baristas and service staff, gaining practical skills in a fast-paced café environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet and engage with customers in a warm and professional manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with menu recommendations and product enquiries.
• Ensure guests have an exceptional dining and café experience.

Beverage Preparation

• Learn and assist in preparing coffee and non-coffee beverages according to company standards.
• Support baristas during service periods.
• Maintain beverage quality and presentation standards.
• Learn basic coffee knowledge, brewing methods and café operations.

Café Operations

• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, service areas and equipment.
• Restock supplies, merchandise and display items as required.
• Support inventory counting and stock management activities.

Team Support & Culture

• Work closely with front-of-house, kitchen and management teams.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
• Uphold company values, service standards and workplace policies.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Culinary Arts, or related fields.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for coffee, food and hospitality is an advantage.
• Able to commit to the internship period required by the educational institution.
