Kreateevee is seeking a Business Development Executive to develop new business opportunities for its audio-visual, digital signage, interactive application, creative content and technology solutions. The role involves identifying potential customers, building relationships, understanding customer requirements and working with technical and project teams to develop commercial proposals and manage opportunities through to handover.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential customers in target sectors such as banking, retail, shopping malls, property development, corporate offices, education, hospitality and government-linked organisations.
• Conduct outbound business development activities through telephone calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, exhibitions and face-to-face appointments.
• Arrange and attend customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations and site visits.
• Understand customer business requirements and coordinate with the technical, creative and application teams to develop appropriate solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, tender submissions and follow-up documentation.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, customer database and activity records using the company’s CRM or sales-tracking system.
• Follow up consistently on enquiries, quotations and proposals until a decision is obtained.
• Develop relationships with consultants, architects, interior designers, main contractors, IT companies, system integrators and other strategic partners.
• Coordinate the proper handover of confirmed projects to the project and implementation teams.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional projects, upgrades, maintenance contracts and recurring services.
• Support the company in collecting overdue commercial documentation and payments relating to accounts managed by the executive.
• Submit weekly sales activity reports, opportunity forecasts and monthly pipeline updates to management.

Performance Indicators (initial six months):

• Minimum 30 new prospecting activities per week.
• Minimum eight qualified customer meetings per month.
• Minimum four qualified proposals or quotations per month.
• Development of at least 100 relevant target accounts within the first three months.
• Qualified sales pipeline of at least RM500,000 by the end of six months.
• Accurate and timely updating of all sales activities and opportunities.
• Quality of customer engagement and internal coordination.
• Achievement of agreed sales and gross-profit targets after the initial ramp-up period.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• One to three years of experience in B2B sales, business development, technology, AV, IT, digital signage or project-based solutions is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and interest in business development may be considered.
• Confident in conducting presentations and communicating with corporate customers.
• Able to understand technical concepts and translate them into business benefits.
• Organised, disciplined and comfortable working toward measurable targets.
• Possesses own transport and is willing to travel for customer meetings and site visits.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
