Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Video Producer to join our Marketing Department and contribute fresh ideas to support our brand and marketing goals. This role offers hands-on experience in both video production and post-production, covering the full spectrum of visual storytelling across various platforms.

As a Video Producer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout all stages of content creation from concept development and filming to editing and final delivery. Your creative input will play a key role in producing engaging video content and strengthening our brand presence across multiple channels.

In addition, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage, editing videos for different formats and platforms, and supporting the team in executing video-related projects. You may also assist with coordination and administrative tasks related to creative and marketing initiatives as needed. 

Key Responsibilities

• Focus on the end-to-end production of short-form content, particularly Reels optimised for social media engagement, while also assisting in commercial video productions on an ad hoc basis.
• Manage all aspects of media production, including photography, videography, video editing, and motion graphics, for platforms such as social media, digital ads, and more.
• Work closely with the video producer to develop pre-production materials, including the shot list and storyboard.
• Set up and operate video, photography, and lighting equipment — both in-studio and on-location.
• Conduct photoshoots and video shoots on a regular basis.
• Select suitable shoot locations, direct subjects on set, and ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines.
• Edit and retouch images and videos using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, or equivalent software.
• Create eye-catching thumbnails, social media-ready cuts, and optimised edits tailored to specific platforms.
• Analyse content performance and apply insights to continuously improve output.
• Stay up to date with the latest video trends, editing techniques, and changes in social media platforms. Support other creative or marketing initiatives as required.
    

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in videography and photography, preferably within an agency or content-focused environment. 
• A strong portfolio showcasing video editing, visual storytelling, and photography (must be submitted with application).
• Highly creative, with excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) or CapCut.
• Solid understanding of key social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and how to create content that captures attention and drives engagement.
• Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and professionally. Proficiency in Mandarin and Malay will be considered an added advantage.
• Experience producing lifestyle content and working with consumer brands such as electronics, fashion, or cosmetics is a significant advantage.
• Able to prioritise tasks, multitask, and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 
• A genuine passion for storytelling, with the creativity to bring ideas to life and communicate key messages.
• A strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Owns a vehicle and is able to travel to various shooting locations as required.
• Bonus: Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or additional Adobe programmes is highly valued.
