Job Description

The successful candidate will support the Talent Attraction & Integration team delivering a smooth and positive hire-to-integrate experience. This role is responsible for effective end-to-end onboarding and new hire induction execution through accurate employee data creation, timely coordination of pre-boarding and Day-1 readiness, and proactive engagement with new joiners and key stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Enable workforce readiness by executing onboarding activities for new joiners following the completion of local employment formalities. 
  • Create, validate, and maintain accurate employee profiles in HR systems to support payroll processing, benefits enrolment, and IT access setup. 
  • Manage complex onboarding scenarios, including changes to joining details, delayed clearances, and employee profile corrections. 
  • Conduct Day 1 induction and onboarding sessions, ensuring consistent messaging and use of standardised materials. 
  • Serve as the primary onboarding point of contact for new joiners following handover from recruitment. 
  • Coordinate closely with Corporate HR teams, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely onboarding transitions. 
  • Provide subject-matter guidance to hiring managers on onboarding processes, timelines, and expectations. 
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve onboarding issues and risks in partnership with internal stakeholders. 
  • Support onboarding process improvements and system enhancements, including user acceptance testing related to onboarding changes. 

Job Requirements

  • Possess a University Bachelor’s Degree, with 3 - 8 years of experience in onboarding, HR operations, or shared services environments, supporting employee lifecycle processes for both operational and professional roles. 
  • Strong working knowledge of end-to-end onboarding and employee lifecycle processes, including data management, documentation, and compliance requirements. 
  • Prior experience coordinating employee data setup to support payroll processing and benefits enrolment. 
  • Proven ability to manage complex or high-volume onboarding cases while ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). 
  • Confident facilitation and communication skills to deliver onboarding and Day 1 induction sessions effectively. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities to manage exceptions, data discrepancies, and onboarding risks. 
  •  Familiarity with HR systems and digital platforms (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or equivalent HRIS), with active adoption of digital and GenAI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and the new joiner experience.
