Job Description

  1. Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to Accounts Receivable (AR) .
  2. Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
  3. Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
  4. Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies, delinquent account holders to request payment.
  5. Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested.
  6. Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts.
  7. Collaborates with the Account Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic (at least bimonthly basis).
  8. Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
  9. Assist Account Executive in reconciling revenue accounts each month.
  10. Copies, files and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
  11. Relays changes of information to appropriate employees.
  12. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Accounting.
  2. At least 2 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  3. Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia. Able to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  5. High level of integrity and meticulousness.
  6. Strong people skills with pleasant personality.
  7. Required language(s): English
  8. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
  9. Able to start work immediately or with short notice is preferred.
