The Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Assistant Marketing Manager to lead and manage a dynamic marketing team. driving marketing efforts elevate Lamarsa Coffee Machine Company’s presence as a distributor of top coffee equipment brands. Reporting directly to the Director, this role is ideal for someone who combines creativity, analytical thinking, and leadership skills. You’ll help oversee campaigns, partnerships, and activations while mentoring junior team members to deliver impactful marketing initiatives. Previous experience in retail premium products or the luxury sector, along with expertise in brand collaboration, will be advantageous to thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and executing marketing strategies across digital, retail, and event channels.
- Lead selected campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and sales objectives.
- Manage and guide the marketing team (executives/content creators and designer) to deliver high-quality output.
- Coordinate with brand partners on collaborations, product launches, and joint promotions.
- Oversee social media, content direction, and digital advertising performance.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and campaign results to provide insights and recommendations.
- Plan and manage budgets for assigned campaigns or projects.
- Manage digital ad campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads), including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking.
- Support in driving marketing initiatives and brand campaigns, working closely with the Event Manager and other teams to ensure alignment and impact.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 4–7 years of marketing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Strong understanding of brand marketing, digital campaigns, and community engagement.
- Experience in retail, F&B, specialty coffee, or lifestyle brands is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia required; Mandarin is a plus).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance creative ideas with execution discipline.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing team environment.
- Passion for the coffee industry is a plus!
