Job Description

We are looking for an Account Executive to manage daily accounting operations and maintain a complete set of accounts. The role will support accurate financial records, timely reporting, payment processing and month-end activities using SQL Accounting software.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Record daily accounting transactions and maintain proper documentation.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and accounting schedules.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Assist with audit, tax and statutory documentation.
• Maintain accurate records in SQL Accounting and Microsoft Excel.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling full-set accounts.
• Experience using SQL Accounting software.
• Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and basic accounting principles.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Microsoft Excel, including formulas and reconciliation work.
• General ledger, AP, AR and bank reconciliation.
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and organisation skills.
