Job Description

Specifically towards Mandarin Speaker Only
Fluent in Mandarin and able to communicate with suppliers from China in writing;
Develop & design wooden dining furniture for HORECA industry from concept to production stage;
Implement continuous product & process improvement;
Create furniture design development and give direction from prototype to mass production;
Prepare 3D presentations and AutoCAD drawings as needed for actual production and assembly;
Tabulate approved drawings and specifications for each product;
Responsible for quality control from design stage until mass production;
Conduct market research & product development regularly for continuous growth;
Generate contemporary & aesthetic wooden dining furniture design with maximum cost effectiveness and cost efficiency;
Collaborate with export sales and logistics personnel for packaging design and maximize the container loading capacity;
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned and required by the Management from time to time.

Fluent in Mandarin and able to communicate with suppliers from China in writing;
Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Product Design or equivalent;
At least 1 to 2 years working experience in wooden dining furniture design for HORECA industry;
Passion in wooden furniture design;
Strong technical skills in wooden dining furniture;
Good sense of European and Scandinavian furniture design particularly in wooden dining furniture design;
Fresh graduates with good sense of European and Scandinavian furniture design are welcomed to apply;
Required skill(s): AutoCAD, MS Office, Solidworks (optional);
Good problem-solving skills, able to navigate unexpected situations or conditions;
Business acumen with entrepreneurship skills to ensure business success;
Responsible, resourceful, detailed, dedicated and committed to work;
Creative, innovative, out-of-box thinker;
Able to meet tight deadlines;
Able to work with minimum supervision;
Able to travel for local and overseas exhibitions;
Able to start working immediately (or with a short notice) is highly preferable.
