Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with country CPOs (Chief People Officers) and their teams to ensure efficient and effective (quality, timely, relevant and consistent) HR services are delivered to employees - superior and impactful employee experience with warmth is key

- Constantly and continuously identify weaknesses and areas for improvement in current/existing processes and workflows - subject matter lead for HRSSC APAC on continuous improvement

- Custodian of HR (employee and organization) and payroll data. Create or support the creation of necessary HR reports, analytics, profiles, etc.

- Custodian of HRSSC APAC performance metrics, and the main lead to ensure the performance of HRSSC APAC are properly tracked and reported. Together with HRSSC APAC Lead, drive HRSSC APAC and ensure service delivery is at the necessary levels and meets all agreed SLAs

- Support and contribute to the development and application of HRSSC and HR guidelines, policies, processes, frameworks, toolkits and methodologies. Also, actively support the centralized repository of HR policies/SOPs on Alibaba platforms - Policy Central

- Carry our continuous improvements on policies/SOPs - identify opportunities for standardisation/ harmonisation

- Policies and SOPs in Policy Central form an important and integral part of the knowledge base and are also critical training data for the chatbots (LazRita, Ali Assistant and 小海豚) - these in turn are key to employee and manager self-service, which are core to the HRSSC service delivery model

- Through internal and external audits, drive satisfactory compliance to legal, fiscal and regulatory requirements

- Twice yearly: Aug/Sep and Feb/Mar - support and facilitate annual external audits: SOX Audit, PwC Audit, ISO Audit, Loreal Social Audit. Also, support and facilitate preparation of the annual ESG Impact Report


Job Requirements

- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources or related fields
- At least 10 years in HR, with proven experience in HR operations and/or HR shared-services
- Self-motivated, great sense of ownership, analytical and data-oriented
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral): a good command of English is necessary and reasonable fluency in Chinese/Mandarin is a definite advantage
- Familiarity with MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
- Professional certification in project management (e.g. PMP) or continuous improvement (e.g. six-sigma) is a plus
- South-east and south Asia and CN regional exposure and experience is a plus
- Reasonable fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus
