Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Intern to support our Finance team in daily operations, reporting, and administrative tasks. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world accounting processes, financial documentation, and audit preparation — ideal for students looking to build a strong foundation in corporate finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Support
- Assist in preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger updates.
- Support monthly closing activities, including filing, data checking, and variance tracking.
- Review source documents for accuracy and ensure proper documentation.
Finance & Reporting
- Assist in preparing financial reports, management summaries, and cost tracking.
- Help compile data for budgeting and forecasting exercises.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather required financial information.
Audit & Compliance
- Support audit preparation activities, including document retrieval and audit schedules.
- Help maintain compliance with internal financial controls and SOPs.
- Ensure confidential financial information is handled properly.
Administrative Support
- Assist in updating databases, maintaining filing systems, and organizing accounting records.
- Support ad-hoc finance tasks and projects when required.

Job Requirements
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., accruals, GL, AP/AR).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP is a bonus).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
