Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Intern to support our Finance team in daily operations, reporting, and administrative tasks. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world accounting processes, financial documentation, and audit preparation — ideal for students looking to build a strong foundation in corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Support

• Assist in preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger updates.
• Support monthly closing activities, including filing, data checking, and variance tracking.
• Review source documents for accuracy and ensure proper documentation.

Finance & Reporting

• Assist in preparing financial reports, management summaries, and cost tracking.
• Help compile data for budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather required financial information.

Audit & Compliance

• Support audit preparation activities, including document retrieval and audit schedules.
• Help maintain compliance with internal financial controls and SOPs.
• Ensure confidential financial information is handled properly.

Administrative Support

• Assist in updating databases, maintaining filing systems, and organizing accounting records.
• Support ad-hoc finance tasks and projects when required.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP is a bonus).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
