Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile, proactive Lighting & Sanitaryware Technician cum Storekeeper to join our showroom team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for technical installation, testing, and display maintenance for our lighting and sanitaryware products, as well as managing showroom inventory and storekeeper duties to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Showroom Support

• Install, assemble, and set up lighting fixtures, switches, sanitary fittings, and showroom display modules.
• Perform routine testing, basic wiring, and troubleshooting for defective or returned electrical products.
• Assist customers and sales staff with basic technical inquiries, product specifications, and installation advice.
• Inspect, test, and package outgoing items or special customer orders to ensure correct functionality prior to delivery/pickup.

Storekeeping & Inventory Management

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of stock from suppliers; report any damaged or missing items immediately.
• Organize and maintain stock storage in the showroom store area cleanly, safely, and systematically.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with regular physical stock counts (audits), and update inventory logs.
• Prepare, pick, pack, and label goods for customer deliveries or showroom store replenishment.

Job Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• SPM, Vocational Diploma, or Certificate in Electrical Wiring, Mechanical/Plumbing, or a related technical field.
• 1–2 years of experience in electrical/lighting installation, sanitary fitting assembly, or storekeeping/warehouse roles.
• Basic understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, wiring safety, and sanitaryware mechanics.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift, move, and store stock items.
• Good organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Basic communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu (Mandarin or local dialects are an added advantage).
