Job Description

Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software.

• Diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues.
• Monitoring network performance and security.
• Assisting with network upgrades and expansions.
• Documenting network configurations and procedures.
• Providing technical support and training to users.

Skills and qualifications generally required include:

• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with network security practices.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Certifications like CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar are often preferred.

User Support & Helpdesk

• Act as support for user issues related to hardware, software, and network access.
• Assist with escalated Helpdesk tickets under supervision (Level 2/3 support).
• Provide basic end-user training and documentation for Microsoft products.
