Business Development Associate

• Develop account strategies, account plans, and communicate such plans to the Business Unit’s Management, pre-sales, staffing and support team members.
• Recommend which opportunities to pursue providing guidance founded on tangible criteria such as highest probability of winning, profit potential and competitive pressures.
• Identify potential leads through networking, cold calling, e-mailing, trade shows, marketing events, leveraging social media and/or other sources and develop relationships with potential buyers through personal meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, and/or other business or social gatherings.
• Identify specific sales opportunities within clients and leverage existing relationships for sales. 
• Identify and responds to RFP's, tenders and develops sales . 
• Be continuously alert of potential follow-on service business in existing accounts; develop those follow-on opportunities to generate repeat revenue within existing accounts.
• Planning and overseeing new marketing strategies.
• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.

Job Requirements

What we are looking for: 

• Bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as Information Technology, Business Studies, Economics, Marketing, or equivalent. 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or business development preferred 
• Possess exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with a flair for presentations
• Ability to speak and write English fluently
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. 
• Forward thinking, open-minded, confident and self-motivated 
• Active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads
