Light Up 7 is on the lookout for a Junior Project Manager to join our team! We are a fast-paced and forward-thinking digital agency partnering with well-known brands and ambitious businesses to create impactful, ROI-driven marketing campaigns that truly make a difference.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the execution of innovative campaigns and managing end-to-end project coordination across multiple teams. The ideal candidate brings 1–2 years of experience, strong critical thinking skills, and enjoys communicating and collaborating with teams across different functions.

Responsibilities:

• Support the project team by understanding client objectives and project goals, and help translate them into clear action points.
• Assist in developing project plans and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
• Monitor daily project activities and follow up with team members to ensure work is progressing according to timelines.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, assets, and documentation to ensure deliverables are clearly tracked and communicated.
• Assist in coordinating resource assignments and proactively identify any potential resource challenges. 
• Monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee and identify potential issues, and propose solutions in advance.
• Identify client needs and contribute ideas to ensure project outcomes align with objective and future opportunities. 
• Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of high-quality service, and gather and act on client feedback.
• Maintain regular communication with internal teams and clients, and assist in preparing project updates and status reports. 
• Support documentation of functional requirements, project specifications, and related material along with project team members.
• Conduct project debriefs by capturing lessons learned, documenting key outcomes, and ensuring insights are properly recorded and shared with the team.
• Prepare essential project documentation such as execution plans, SLAs, NDAs, and other required materials. 

Job Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 1-2+ years of experience in digital agency project management or experience in managing projects, especially related to design, video, digital marketing and website development.
• A keen interest in the creative digital industry.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) with excellent client relationship management abilities. 
• Self-motivated, organised, detail-oriented, with proficient problem-solving techniques  
• Able to remain level-headed and maintain a positive attitude under pressure. 
• Passion for continuous learning and developing new skills in a fast-paced digital environment.
• Keen interest in staying updated with the latest digital platforms and technologies
• Passion for AI and emerging technologies, with a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation. 
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace, and other web-based tools: knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an additional advantage. 
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
