As a Showroom Sales associate you will build memorable in-store journeys, curate product displays, and support sales growth. This role is hands-on and creative, with real ownership over customer moments and merchandising choices.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

• Welcome customers, ask clear questions to understand their needs, and recommend suitable lighting and home pieces.
• Demonstrate product features and care instructions so customers feel confident in their choices.
• Follow up on interested leads and encourage returns or referrals through friendly service.

Sales & Operations

• Process sales accurately.
• Track daily sales, prepare simple reports, and help the manager with stock reconciliation.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
• Support online order fulfillment and in-store pickups as needed.

Visual Merchandising & Store Upkeep

• Set up attractive displays that match season and promotions and rotate merchandise to keep the showroom fresh.
• Perform regular stock counts, receive deliveries, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Keep the showroom tidy and ensure safety and accessibility for customers at all times.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of retail or showroom sales experience, preferably in lifestyle or home products.
• Secondary education required, with any retail training or short courses considered a plus.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of retail sales processes and customer service best practices.
• Familiarity with POS and inventory systems, and the ability to learn our store software quickly.
• Basic visual merchandising sense to create appealing displays that drive purchases.
• Competence in preparing short sales summaries and following stock control procedures.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Friendly communicator who listens well and explains product value clearly.
• Organised and reliable, able to manage multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Positive attitude toward teamwork and willingness to support colleagues during peak times.
