Job Description

 Responsibilities

  1. Manage and perform the full set of accounts for the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and journal entries. 
  2. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. 
  3. Monitor cash flow, company expenditures, and financial transactions to ensure proper financial control and reporting. 
  4. Maintain and reconcile accounting records, ledgers, and supporting documentation in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. 
  5. Oversee billing, invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and expense reimbursements. 
  6. Ensure timely submission of statutory payments, tax filings, and compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements. 
  7. Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities when required. 
  8. Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis for management review. 
  9. Supervise and guide the Accounting Assistant in daily accounting operations and administrative accounting tasks. 
  10. Monitor and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial documentation procedures. 
  11. Ensure proper maintenance, confidentiality, and security of financial records and accounting data. 
  12. Support management in financial analysis, cost control initiatives, and operational decision-making. 
  13. Perform other finance and accounting-related duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Job Requirements

 Education, Experience and Skills

  1. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in accounting or finance, including experience handling full set accounts independently. 
  2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and bookkeeping practices. 
  3. Experience in preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and statutory reporting. 
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. 
  5. Good understanding of taxation, payroll processing, and financial compliance requirements. 
  6. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 
  7. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  8. High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. 
  9. Strong organizational and communication skills for effective coordination with management, auditors, and external parties.
