Job Description

The HR intern will assist the HR team with day-to-day operations while gaining exposure to different HR functions. 

  1. Recruitment
  • Assist in posting job ads on job portals and social media.
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates for interviews.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Support onboarding activities (preparing documents, orientation) 

2. HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee leave records and OTs. 
  • Assist in preparing HR letters (offer letters, warning letters, confirmation letters etc)
  • Support in preparing HR reports (attendance, leave, turnover, recruitment status)

3. Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Assist in organizing staff engagement activities (team-building, festive events, wellness programs)
  • Conduct surveys or collect feedback from employees.
  • Help coordinate training sessions (booking venues, preparing training materials, attendance tracking)

4. Admin Tasks (when needed)

  • Despatch arrangement
  • Meeting room booking/arrangement 
  • Managing office and pantry supplies
  • Research or translation work

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
     
  • Strong interest in developing a career in Human Resources.
     
  • Basic knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, employee relations, payroll, training) will be an added advantage.
     
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with digital tools.
     
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
     
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
     
  • Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
     
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
     
  • Availability for a minimum internship period of 6 months.
