Job Description

• Handle daily accounting tasks, including data entry, invoicing and payment processing
• Prepare and record payment vouchers, receipts and journal entries
• Do bank reconciliations and keep financial records accurate
• Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including following up on outstanding payments
• Process student fee collections and related records
• Help prepare monthly closing, management reports and audit schedules
• Keep financial documents properly filed and organised
• Liaise with internal departments, students, vendors and banks on account matters
• Carry out other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Finance Manager

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of accounting software (e.g. AutoCount, SQL Account, UBS) is an advantage
• Good attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Organised, responsible and able to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Willing to learn and able to work in a team
