Job Description

Job Descriptions:

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. 
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review. 
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with department heads. 
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements. 
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation in accordance with accounting standards. 
  • Process payroll and ensure timely submission of statutory contributions such as EPF, SOCSO, and EIS. 
  • Manage cash flow and banking activities, including reconciliations and fund transfers. 
  • Oversee procurement and expense tracking to ensure budget adherence and cost control. 
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets. 
  • Support financial analysis for strategic planning, investment decisions, and operational improvements. 
  • Prepare tax filings and liaise with tax consultants to ensure compliance and optimize tax efficiency. 
  • Monitor financial performance indicators and provide insights to senior management. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collections from clients and partners. 
  • Assist in preparing financial documentation for accreditation and institutional audits. 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles. 
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations and tax laws. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. 
  • Excellent communication skills in other languages than those 3 mentioned above is an advantage. 
  • Malaysian nationality required.
