Job Description

• Deliver clinical teaching to pharmacy students in hospital and/or simulated settings 
• Facilitate case-based learning, ward rounds, and practical training sessions 
• Supervise students during clinical placements and internships 
• Assess students’ clinical competencies, performance, and professionalism 
• Develop and update clinical teaching materials and case studies 
• Support curriculum delivery aligned with current clinical pharmacy practices 
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students 
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance clinical training quality 
• Participate in program development, accreditation, and quality assurance processes in line with Pharmacy Board of Malaysia standards 
• Maintain active clinical practice to ensure up-to-date industry knowledge 
• Engage in community health programs and patient education initiatives 
• Contribute to administrative duties and faculty activities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent 
• Master’s or PhD in Clinical Pharmacy / Pharmacy (preferred) 
• Registered pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia 
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical pharmacy experience (hospital/clinical setting preferred) 
• Experience in teaching or student supervision is an advantage 
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to mentor and guide students effectively 
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic and healthcare teams
