Job Description

 Job Descriptions:

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical classes in hospitality, tourism, and related subjects. 
  • Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with program outcomes and accreditation standards. 
  • Supervise student projects, internships, and research activities. 
  • Participate in curriculum review and enhancement to meet industry and academic requirements. 
  • Engage in scholarly activities, research, and publications relevant to the hospitality field.
  • Provide academic advice, mentoring, and support to students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to ensure program relevance and quality.
  • Assist in organizing faculty events, seminars, and industry networking activities.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, accreditation, and quality assurance standards (e.g., MQA, JPK, or equivalent).
  • Contribute to community engagement and promotional activities for the Faculty of Hospitality.
     


Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Culinary Arts, or a related field (PhD preferred).
  • Professional Certification: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., JPK, TVET, HACCP, ServSafe) are an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of teaching or relevant industry experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom delivery.
  • Passion for student development and industry engagement.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with curriculum development and accreditation processes.
  • Research and publication record in hospitality or tourism studies. 
  • Industry networking and collaboration capabilities.
  • Leadership and teamwork in academic or operational settings.
