Job Description

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory/clinical teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students 
• Develop teaching materials and implement effective teaching and learning strategies 
• Design, administer, and evaluate assessments (assignments, tests, examinations) 
• Review and update curriculum to align with current pharmacy practices and academic standards 
• Conduct research and publish in reputable academic journals 
• Apply for research grants and participate in academic conferences 
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects 
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students 
• Undertake administrative duties such as course coordination and committee involvement 
• Participate in accreditation and quality assurance processes in line with Pharmacy Board of Malaysia requirements 
• Engage in clinical practice and collaborate with healthcare professionals (for clinical roles) 
• Contribute to industry engagement, consultancy, and community outreach activities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent 
• PhD in Pharmacy / Clinical Pharmacy / Pharmacology (preferred/required) 
• Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching, research, or clinical experience 
• Strong research track record with publications in academic journals 
• Experience in supervising student research projects 
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia 
• Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills 
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an academic environment 
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities
