Job Description

• Prepare and submit corporate income tax (CP204, CP204A, Form C) in compliance with the Income Tax Act 1967
• Handle withholding tax (WHT) matters, including preparation, payment, and submission to LHDN
• Manage Sales and Service Tax (SST) filings and ensure compliance with SST regulations
• Prepare tax computations, schedules, and supporting documents for audits and reviews
• Liaise with LHDN, Customs, tax agents, and auditors on tax-related matters
• Monitor changes in Malaysian tax laws, guidelines, and rulings, and assess impact on the company
• Support tax planning and advisory initiatives to optimize tax positions
• Assist in handling tax audits, investigations, and queries from authorities
• Ensure proper tax documentation and record-keeping
• Support finance team in month-end and year-end closing where required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
• 2-3 years of relevant tax or accounting experience (fresh graduates with strong tax knowledge may be considered)
• Good understanding of Malaysian taxation, including income tax, withholding tax, and SST
• Familiarity with LHDN e-Filing and tax compliance procedures
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
