About Lips Carpenter

At Lips Carpenter, we believe beauty should be made gentle, personal and beautiful.

We’re looking for a motivated intern to support our Retail Sales & Growth initiative. You’ll be involved in bazaars, pop-ups and other retail activations — from helping to identify and coordinate events to working with promoters and supporting sales on the ground.

This is a hands-on learning role where you’ll experience how an offline sales channel is built and managed, while working closely with the team who will guide and support you along the way.

What You’ll Do

1. Retail Events

• Help identify and research suitable bazaars, pop-ups and retail opportunities with guidance from the team.
• Assist with event registration, organiser communication, logistics and preparation.
• Support booth setup, stock preparation and on-ground coordination.

2. Sales & Promoters

• Support sales during events and step in as a promoter when needed.
• Coordinate with part-time promoters to ensure everyone is prepared and knows their targets and responsibilities.
• Help track daily sales and identify what can be improved.

3. Retail Operations

• Help coordinate stock, materials and equipment needed for events.
• Support event schedules, checklists and other operational tasks.
• Learn how to plan and execute events efficiently and contribute to growing our offline sales channel.

Job Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is energetic, organised, confident and willing to get hands-on.

• Enjoys sales and talking to people.
• Comfortable working at bazaars, pop-ups and weekend events.
• Organised and able to coordinate people and tasks.
• Proactive and willing to take initiative rather than wait for instructions.
• Interested in beauty, retail, sales or consumer brands.
• Students studying Business, Marketing, Retail, E-commerce, Communications or related fields are welcome.

Most importantly, you:

• Want to learn how to grow a business, not just complete an internship.
• Are comfortable getting on the ground and doing the work.
• Take ownership and follow things through.
• Are resourceful and willing to figure things out.
• Enjoy working with people and are motivated by sales results.

Working Hours & Location

• 5 working days per week, Monday–Sunday depending on the event schedule.
• Based at Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur, with regular travel to events.
• Weekend and public holiday work may be required when events fall on those days.
• Own transport is required for travelling to events.
• Overtime will be paid when required.

Compensation

• Monthly internship allowance
• Sales commission — the more you sell, the more you earn.
• Overtime pay for approved overtime work.
• Strong performance may lead to a full-time opportunity after the internship.
