Job Description

About the Role

  • Objective: To learn the fundamentals of wealth management, risk mitigation, and client relations while supporting our team of experienced financial advisors.
  • Focus Areas: Life insurance, health insurance, retirement planning, and wealth accumulation strategies.
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Career Pathway: We offer the opportunity to extend successful internships into a part-time or full-time career with lucrative commission-earning income upon completion of internship training. Furthermore, we are committed to long-term growth and actively develop permanent advisors to advance into management roles.
  • Location: Kuala Lumpur / Puchong / Serdang

Key Responsibilities

  • Shadowing & Observation: Sit in on client meetings and consultations with senior advisors to learn effective communication and fact-finding techniques.
  • Financial Analysis Support: Assist in reviewing clients' current financial portfolios to identify gaps in health coverage, retirement readiness, and wealth accumulation.
  • Proposal Preparation: Draft customized financial plans, life and medical insurance quotations, and presentation decks for prospective clients.
  • Product Knowledge: Deepen your understanding of various financial products, focusing specifically on life and health policies, and long-term investment strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Assist with after-sales service, annual policy reviews, and addressing basic client inquiries regarding their life and health coverage.
  • Market Research: Keep track of current financial trends and update the team on new market developments regarding retirement and wealth planning.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong spoken and written communication skills; ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Language: Fluent in spoken Mandarin.
  • Attitude: Proactive, highly motivated, and eager to learn the ropes of the financial planning industry.
  • Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or similar software. Knowing AI tools for drafting marketing content is a plus.
  • Certifications: Willingness to study for relevant industry licenses (e.g., PCE, CEILI) is a strong bonus.
