Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with a strong design sensibility and passion for delivering exceptional interior spaces. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, collaborative, and experienced in handling projects from concept development through to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept Development: Develop innovative and practical interior design concepts aligned with client objectives, brand identity, and project requirements.
- Space Planning: Create efficient and aesthetically pleasing spatial layouts that enhance functionality and user experience.
- 3D Visualization & Rendering: Produce high-quality 3D models and photorealistic renderings using tools such as 3ds Max, V-Ray, and other relevant software for presentations and approvals.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget constraints, ensuring expectations are well managed.
- Technical Drawings: Prepare accurate, detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation to support construction and implementation.
- Material & Finishes Selection: Research and recommend suitable materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that align with the design concept and budget.
- Project Coordination: Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and on schedule.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable design practices, and emerging technologies in interior design.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a professional interior design role (commercial project experience is an added advantage).
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay to effectively communicate with diverse clients and stakeholders.
- Strong design sensibility with excellent attention to detail across all project stages.
- Effective problem-solving skills with strong time management abilities.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and open to feedback.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
