Job Description

1. Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for store fit-out and renovation works.
2. Assist in preparing feasibility studies and cost plans for upcoming projects.
3. Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BQ), and request-for-quotation (RFQ) packages.
4. Evaluate and compare contractor quotations and recommend cost-effective solutions.
5. Draft, review, and administer contracts in compliance with company standards.
6. Verify and process progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
7. Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
8. Provide regular cost reports and value engineering recommendations.
9. Conduct site visits to verify progress and measure completed works.
10. Work closely with the Fit-Out and Project Managers to resolve site-related cost issues.
11. Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely reporting.
12. Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and quality standards.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum 2–4 years of experience in cost management or QS role, preferably in retail or interior fit-out projects.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and cost estimation software.
4. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
5. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
6. Willing to travel for site inspections and project meetings.
