About the role:

The UX/UI Designer role requires expertise in user research, information architecture, and visual and interaction design. The UX/UI Designer creates intuitive prototypes, collaborates closely with developers, and ensures designs meet accessibility standards. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of UX processes, tooling, and design systems.

The responsibilities and impact you will have:

User research and design

• Conducts user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors.
• Performs usability testing and gathers user feedback using modern qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Analyzes user data and generates insights to inform design decisions.
• Develops and maintains site maps, user flows, and wireframes.
• Organizes and structures content to enhance user navigation and experience.
• Creates visually appealing and user-friendly designs.
• Develops interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and validate ideas early.
• Ensures designs are responsive and work across various devices and screen sizes.
• Considers performance, scalability, and edge cases during design.

Collaboration and feedback

• Works closely with developers to ensure design feasibility, quality, and efficient implementation.
• Participates in cross-functional team ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews) to align on goals and requirements.
• Collaborates with Product, Content, and stakeholders to balance business objectives and user needs.
• Ensures all designs meet accessibility standards and guidelines.
• Conducts accessibility audits and implements necessary improvements.
• Advocates for inclusive, user-centred design practices within the team.
• Communicates clearly and proactively with team members and stakeholders.
• Iterates on designs based on feedback, data, and real-world usage.
• Stays updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI design.
• Contributes to the evolution and maintenance of design systems, components, and guidelines.
• Supports knowledge sharing and design quality across the UX/UI team.

Requirements:

• Verbal and written fluency in English.
• Strong experience conducting user research and translating insights into design solutions.
• Ability to structure and organize information to improve clarity and usability.
• Solid visual design skills to create clean, consistent, and functional interfaces.
• Experience designing interactive elements and flows that enhance usability.
• Proficiency in prototyping tools to test and refine ideas quickly.
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Experience collaborating closely with developers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort working in agile, fast-moving product environments.
