Job Overview

As the General Manager, you will be the strategic leader responsible for the overall performance, educational quality, and operational excellence of all My Kiddyland branches. You will provide visionary leadership grounded in deep academic expertise, ensure the highest standards of curriculum and pedagogy, and drive sustainable growth. This is a pivotal role for a seasoned leader who can translate advanced educational theory into outstanding business and child outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Academic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the long-term strategic plan for My Kiddyland, informed by leading-edge educational research.
  • Drive enrolment growth, brand reputation, and financial sustainability across all branches.
  • Act as the organization's foremost academic authority, setting the direction for pedagogical philosophy and innovation.

Curriculum Development & Educational Excellence:

  • Lead the design, oversight, and continuous evolution of a world-class, evidence-based early childhood curriculum.
  • Ensure the curriculum is grounded in robust research and meets the highest international benchmarks for early childhood development.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous standards for teaching quality, learning environments, and developmental outcomes.

Operational & Financial Management:

  • Oversee the complete P&L for all branches. Develop annual budgets, forecast financial performance, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Implement robust operational systems and policies to ensure efficiency, safety, and consistency across all locations.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Branch Principals and senior staff.
  • Foster a culture of academic excellence, professional inquiry, and continuous improvement.
  • Design and oversee advanced professional development and research-based training programs.

Compliance & Stakeholder Relations:

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all national and local regulations governing early childhood education.
  • Serve as the primary academic representative of My Kiddyland, building strong relationships with parents, the community, and regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

  • At least a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in early childhood education, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role as a Principal.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience in institutional-level curriculum planning, development, and scholarly evaluation.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

  • Proven success in multi-site/branch management within the education sector.
  • Exceptional financial acumen and experience in budgeting and business management.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire academic and administrative teams.
  • A strong record of integrating educational research into practical application and policy.
