Our Customer is a Leading bank headquartered in Singapore, implementing a front to back integrated platform for straight-through processing and risk management.
This is a multi-year initiative where different projects run in concurrence across streams including new product initiatives, new entity roll-outs, and regulatory compliances.
The project you will be working on is a multi-year initiative looking to implement market-risk FRTB IMA for the customer by 2025.
This project is a great opportunity for you to gain or extend in-depth knowledge on FRTB IMA.
We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Release Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across multiple environments. This role requires strong collaboration with development, QA, operations, and support teams to ensure smooth deployments and effective incident management.
Release Planning & Coordination:
Define and manage release schedules, scope, and milestones.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful releases.
Maintain release calendars and communicate timelines to stakeholders.
Deployment Strategy:
Design and implement deployment strategies for various environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production).
Ensure rollback plans and contingency procedures are in place.
Automate deployment processes using DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and maintain detailed release reports, dashboards, and metrics using Excel and reporting tools.
Document release notes, change logs, and post-release analysis.
Tool Management:
Administer and manage workflows in Jira for release tracking and issue resolution.
Maintain documentation and collaboration spaces in Confluence.
Incident & Problem Management (L3 Support):
Lead resolution of critical incidents during and post-release.
Manage L3 support tickets, ensuring timely root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
Collaborate with support and engineering teams to improve system reliability.
DevOps Integration:
Work closely with DevOps teams to align release processes with CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor build and deployment health across environments.
Must have
1 to 3years of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas).
Experience with Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
Knowledge of incident and problem management frameworks (ITIL preferred).
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple releases simultaneously.
Nice to have
Related professional/technical qualifications will be advantageous, although not mandatory.
