Define and own the Murex testing strategy, scope, and test approach (SIT, UAT, Regression)

Plan, manage, and execute end‑to‑end testing for Murex releases and implementations

Prepare and maintain test plans, scenarios, test cases, and coverage metrics

Lead and coordinate test teams and business UAT users

Ensure functional validation of: Trade lifecycle, Pricing and risk calculations and accounting flows

Manage defect lifecycle: triage, prioritization, resolution tracking

Coordinate with System Analysts, Developers, Business, and Infrastructure teams

Ensure test environment and test data readiness

Track testing progress, risks, and dependencies; provide status reporting

Enforce quality standards, entry/exit criteria, and test sign‑off

Support go‑live, release, and post‑production validation

Skills

Must have

6+years of strong hands‑on knowledge of Murex MX.3 architecture and front‑to‑back flows

Experience testing Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Operations modules

Solid understanding of financial products (FX, Rates, Derivatives)

bullet icon

Expertise in SIT, UAT, Regression, and End‑to‑End testing

Ability to validate: Trade lifecycle events, Pricing & risk (NPV, Greeks, VaR), P&L and accounting postings

Proficiency in SQL for data validation and reconciliation

Strong defect management skills (tracking, triage, prioritization)

Experience with test management and defect tools (e.g., ALM, Jira)

Knowledge of Murex releases, upgrades, and patch testing

Good understanding of batch processing, interfaces, and feeds
